Hello, I’m Ron

And I am a Denver, Colorado based dance photographer who loves to capture your passion for dance…. because I also have that passion.   I’m often asked how I got started in dance photography. It started almost 40 years ago when I saw my first Flamenco and modern dance performances in Rochester, New York.  Nazareth College would also host Alvin Ailey dance performances and there were open practices where the public could watch…and yes photograph the dancers.  That was the start of the addiction.

It would not be until 20 years later, when I started dancing myself (Salsa) , that I realized how transformative dance could be. As a relatively shy and introverted person I’ve made it my mission to show others how dance can be a way to express yourself, connect with others and be part of larger creative community.

With over 400 dance styles and new ones emerging, I feel like I am on just the tip on an iceberg of trying capture the joy of all them…so far Ballroom, Ballet, Argentine Tango, Aerial, Salsa, Zouk, Kathak, Flamenco, Middle Eastern,

To me, the results of your dance photography session will not only express how you feel about your dance but also show a little bit of magic of the experience.  I sometime use tools such as Photoshop to add some of this magic, as can be seen below.   You will want to hang your photos on the wall and not just have theme hidden away on social media

I can’t wait to experience working together
